How to exercise your privacy rights

Submit a Privacy Request

To exercise your privacy rights (access, export, or deletion of your data), you can:

Use the app: Sign in to Kinset and go to Settings. You can view your data, export it as JSON, or delete your account directly.
Email us: Send your request to privacy@onecharteroak.com. Include the email address associated with your Kinset account so we can verify your identity.

What You Can Request

Access: See what personal data Kinset holds about you.
Export: Download a copy of your data as a JSON file.
Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data. Data is removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.
Withdraw guardian authorization: If you authorized a teen, you can withdraw that authorization through Settings or by contacting us.

Response Time

We respond to privacy requests within 30 days. If we need additional time, we will let you know.

Verification

To protect your privacy, we verify your identity before processing requests submitted by email. We may ask you to confirm the email address associated with your account or provide additional verification.
